Employer Partnerships – A Resource bank of Credible Candidates

ACTS provides it’s 100+ employer partners with viable and vetted candidates to fill their open positions. With vetted candidates that have successfully completed the ACTS Career Center Candidate Profile and Candidate Training program, we positively effect your bottom line by connecting you with future team members that are vested and READY at DAY ONE!

Upskilling/Reskilling -FOCUS FORWARD: NOW

Through a series of online and in person training sessions, current capabilities are cultivated and developed with a what’s new, now” approach. This approach supports advancing current skills to meet personal career goals. ACTS connects individuals with apprenticeship programs, higher education entities and remote learning opportunities to increase upskilling/reskilling efforts to address individual and industry changing needs.

SOFT SKILLS TRAINING – Get what YOU Need

The team at ACTS Career Center evaluates the world or work with the “worker” in the center. Establishing strong soft skills and employment training is critical to future success as the world of work evolves and often shifts.

Via on-site and virtual class sessions, skills are introduced and reinforced from a personalized, holistic approach. Each individual is provided a one-on-one session with a team member that outlines their current skills, talents and future goals. This individualized approach allows for streamlined services and succinct plans for success.

PEER COACHING & MENTORING – ACTS LOVES COLLABORATIVE LEARNING!

BYI : Youth & Young Adults

Brown Youth Initiative (BYI) provides youth and young adults introduction to the workforce by providing real time on the job opportunities with ACTS’ local employer partners. These opportunities are paid experiences and often lead to permanent employment! BYI runs from April to July of each year. Be on the lookout for the 2025 BYI application!
